We started PerfectShaker so you'd never need a shipping container.
In 2009, putting your logo on a shaker meant ordering twenty thousand of them. We thought that was ridiculous. So we fixed it.
It started with a container nobody should've had to buy.
Back in 2009, if you wanted your logo on a shaker cup, there was exactly one path: order a full shipping container. Tens of thousands of units, a five-figure check, and a warehouse you probably didn't have. For most brands, "custom" simply wasn't an option.
Mark took the plunge for his own brand — and to actually fill a container that size, he split it across a handful of other brands, Darren's among them. Then he spent the next several months living in a townhouse stacked floor-to-ceiling with boxes, a literal cardboard wall built around his bed, moving shakers out one case at a time.
On the flight to the 2009 Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas, the two of them got to talking. If getting custom shakers was this painful for them, it was painful for every brand they knew. By the time they landed, the idea was real — and in 2010, Darren and Mark founded PerfectShaker together to fix it, for good.
Everything we do still comes back to that idea. A brand shouldn't have to bet the budget to look the part. You should be able to put your logo on a premium cup, order a quantity that actually makes sense, and get it decorated and shipped fast — from people who've now done it thousands of times.
The two behind the brand
Darren
Co-founder. One of the brands whose shakers filled that very first container. On the flight to the 2009 Mr. Olympia, he and Mark realized every brand was stuck behind the same wall — and decided to tear it down together.
Mark
Co-founder. The one who ordered that first container for his own brand and spent months living behind a literal wall of boxes — the headache that, on a flight to Vegas with Darren, became the plan for PerfectShaker.
On a mission to be every brand's favorite shaker.

Who founded PerfectShaker?
PerfectShaker was co-founded in 2010 by Darren and Mark. The idea was born the year before, on a flight to the 2009 Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas: Mark had ordered a full shipping container of custom shakers for his own brand — filling it by splitting it with other brands, including Darren's — and the two realized that ordering by the container was a barrier every brand faced. So they built the company to remove it.
What's the minimum order for custom shakers?
Just 48 units on our custom stainless cups — no shipping container and no five-figure minimum required. You can put your logo on a premium shaker without over-committing.
How long does a custom shaker order take?
Low-run custom orders are typically delivered in 3–5 weeks, decorated and shipped from our facility in Sanborn, New York. Large overseas made-to-order runs of 1,000+ units take about 90 days delivered, so plan those further ahead.
Where are PerfectShaker cups customized?
Domestic custom orders are decorated — laser-etched for stainless, heat-transfer printed for plastic — and shipped from our facility in Sanborn, New York.
What makes PerfectShaker different?
We built the company specifically to remove the container-sized barrier to custom shakers. Low minimums, premium stainless options like ACTIV and LUMA, US-based decoration, and a real team that turns your logo into a free mockup before you commit.
